The Centre for Historical Research has a recognizable and established scientific role, and our editorial efforts make an invaluable contribution to the knowledge of the past of the Istrian-Kvarner region and the entire Eastern Adriatic in general. The ultimate objective of findings of each research carried out by the Centre is the publication of original contributions in our journals and monograph series that are made accessible electronically and in paper form. The topics covered in numerous publications of the Centre concern the history of the Roman and Byzantine region \u201cVenetia et Histria\u201d, the Istrian Middle Ages, the history of the Venetian Republic, Austrian Istria in the long nineteenth century, the development of the Eastern Adriatic, the history of the indigenous Italian national community from 1945 to the present, etc. Considering its vigour and the sheer quantity of editorial materials, our editorial production, entirely in Italian, greatly contributes to the process of preserving the language and culture of the Italian population living in Croatia and Slovenia.<\/p>\n

PublishingThe Centre for Historical Research has a recognizable and established scientific role, and our editorial efforts make an invaluable contribution to the knowledge of the past of the Istrian-Kvarner region and the entire Eastern Adriatic in general. The ultimate objective of findings of each research carried out by the Centre is the publication of original contributions in our journals and monograph series that are made accessible electronically and in paper form.
